Mommy & Me-Take 129

Having two kiddos has been a game changer of the most sweet and tiring kind! I’ve heard so many mom’s say that three kids really changed things for their family…we are feeling the change with two. And having quite a bit of fun at the same time. I’m really trying to make sure Logan gets plenty of MommaE time, and quite often it’s during the times I am nursing Morgan. She likes to sit with us and say ‘Morgan drinking mee-ilk from momma’s teet!’ and then makes a suckling sound, or gives her kisses. I cherish these cozy moments. m&m129d

When I start to feel guilty that Logan isn’t getting enough time with me I remind myself that Logan got me all to herself, so it’s ok for Morgan to have some one on one MommaE time. m&m129b

Logan turned 2 on Sunday August 9, 2015 and we celebrated with family and an Elmo cake. It was a very fun day for all of us! She is still working on opening her gifts so I will post more from her birthday when I have all the gift opening pictures!m&m129e

When Logan made Morgan’s 0 birthday cake she was fine with other people getting a piece, but she insisted on eating from the entire cake…she did the same thing on her birthday. You’re only 2 once so I am glad you enjoyed YOUR cake Mitsy Moo!

  1. Grandma Pat says:

    Children are a true blessing.

  2. I like 0 to 1 was the hardest for us…especially because none of our friends at the time had kids.

And, the fact that she calls it a teet is cracking me up!

  3. I like kids and all UNTIL I GET PUKED ON!!! lol lol (never having kids, never having kids, never having kids)

  4. What a cutie! Happy 2nd birthday to Logan. We found 2 to be a game changer too – especially 5 years apart. I joke sometimes that my son adjusted better than we parents did. 😉 I worry about giving him enough 1 on 1 time, but it appears it’s more in my head than anything else. I still push for those times though however we get them because I enjoy them and goodness they grow up far too fast! I don’t want to miss a moment with either of my kids.
