Mommy & Me-Take 140

I sat Morgan in the Bumbo seat and she did so well. Her neck is so strong and she actually seemed to enjoy sitting upright. I read her The Very Hungry Caterpillar and she seemed to enjoy the bright colors. I know January will be here before we know it, and that’s when Morgan will start going to school, so I am reminding myself to enjoy these moments with her. She seems to be growing SO fast. Both of the girls are.

Our company donated to a local charity and they had a fancy fundraiser dinner I was lucky enough to attend Friday night. I had someone come to the house and do my hair and make-up and I love how it turned out…so did Logan. She kept saying ‘Momma pretty hair. Momma pretty eyes.’ and would touch my hair and eyes. She was loving the red lipstick, too. But what Logan loved the most was the sparkly dress I rented for the event. She couldn’t keep her hands off of it and kept running into whatever room I was in to touch it.She just couldn’t get enough of the pretty, sparkly purple dress. The Hubs stayed home to watch the girls and work (yes, he works too much, but hopefully things are in a position where he can be my date next year) and I brought my friend Amy as my date. We had a great night and I can’t wait to see profession pictures from the event. We loved the Old Hollywood Glam theme and nailed the bright red lips, in my opinion. Logan missed me SO much, or maybe she missed the purple sparkles, so we had some one on one time at Grandma and Grandpa’s neighborhood Halloween party. We are using her frog costume from last year again because it still fits, and more importantly, she really likes it. I can’t wait to take her Trick-or-Treating Saturday night! She keeps telling me ‘Logan trick-or-treat!’ so the party was great practice!
