Take 141: *This weeks Mommy and Me will feature mostly Daddy as MommaE didn’t do a good job getting in front of the camera.* My MIL came over with these adorable Jack-O-Lantern hats she got the girls while she was in California. Logan is wanting to do everything with Morgan and have Morgan with her at all times, especially in the morning and before bedtime. Logan also wants to teach Morgan everything she knows. When she reads to her it just melts my heart. My nieces have all worn the pumpkin costume for their first Halloween, and Logan did as well in 2013. So, for Halloween 2015 Morgan was a pumpkin and Logan wore her frog costume, again. Her frog costume still fit and she loved it…way more than last year, so it was perfect.I took Logan Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood while the Hubs stayed home and bathed Morgan and got her ready for bed. I wish we had a video…it was SO MUCH FUN! Logan sat in the wagon and would jump out when we got to a house with the lights on and walk up to the door and just stand there while I said ‘Trick-or-Treat.’ Once she was back in the wagon she would say ‘thank you’ and ask for ‘more Trick-or-Treat, please?’ It was a little disappointing that not many people were passing out ‘treats’ but we walked a good distance and she was able to go to about 10 houses, and got quite a bit of candy. She happily ate a giant blue lollipop while she took her bath. She didn’t finish it and threw it away after her bath and was not upset about it at all. The next morning she went into our bathroom and all was quiet except for a little rustling around so I went in there to see what she was getting in to…she was digging in the trash can trying to find her lollipop from the night before! Smart little Mitsy Moo!
Sunday afternoon we dressed in our Texans gear and snapped a family picture. We are hoping for a great second half of the 2015-2016 season for the Texans, especially number 59!
Take 142: Morgan will start going to Daycare in January. It’s the same school and same teachers Logan had and we really like them. However, I am going to miss her so I am getting my daytime cuddles and snuggles as often as she lets me. I love this picture with my VBAC baby and VBAC Without Fear shirt on. Naps are better with MommaE!We enjoyed a fun lunch date with my best friend and her daughter, Brynn. Morgan was all smiles before we left and happy the entire time we were at lunch. Both of our little ladies were great!Along with snuggles and smiles, we’ve had a few fussy days with Morgan as well. I am not sure if it’s her age and all that she is learning or if she’s teething, but when I wear her in our LILLEbaby she calms right down. Which is why we have several LILLE’s. We took the girls to play at an indoor play area near their Granny’s house so she could visit and Morgan was a happy girl in her LILLE. Sunday morning it was PERFECT weather and we took a family trip to the zoo. As Logan gets older she has more and more fun at the zoo, and recognizes more and more animals. This is the first time we have been on he carousel at the zoo. The Hubs videoed while we went around and around and I think she has watched her video at least 50 times over the past week. The weather has continued to be really nice and I hope we can make it back to the zoo again, soon. We still haven’t had the chance to feed the giraffes or watch the sea lion show! I think Logan will really get a kick out of both of those activities.
Take 143: We took family pictures for our Christmas card this last weekend. It was a little colder than I expected but leggings are in style so the girls looked super cute. The picture taking wore Morgan out so while she napped me and Logan went to the grocery store and of course we snapped a selfie because I had make-up on AND my hair curled….and the gorgeous sun rays and fluffy clouds made for the perfect background. I drove to Austin early Sunday morning to help new parents find the LILLElove which was so easy to do because both our girls LOVE their LILLEbaby carriers. Logan is the perfect size for the toddler carrier (CarryOn) and it makes walking to the park so much easier (and sweeter)when I wear her. The Milkshake household is looking forward to a week of grocery shopping and prepping for a delicious Thanksgiving feast.
So much to comment on! You’ve had a busy couple weeks for sure.
I love the pumpkin and that all six of the girls have worn it!
