Mommy & Me-Take 174

Logan’s imagination has been growing and blooming every day. When she plays upstairs she likes to wear a swaddle blanket as a dress while she pretends to be a princess. It is ADORABLE! We hear her talking and playing with her dolls and it brings the biggest smiles to our faces. She has so much fun with her dolls and is very creative making clothes out of Play-Doh for them. m&m174

Saturday morning Logan and I went to the Children’s Museum for a birthday party. She was pretty excited and I was thrilled to have our LILLEbaby with us because it was a hike from the parking garage to the entrance. m&m174b

We only explored a fraction of the museum and are hoping to go back. There were so many fun activities and exhibits.

Sunday morning around 10:30 we got to the waterpark, and grandma and grandpa met us there. Around 11:50 Logan told me she was ready to go home and eat lunch. We started changing the girls into dry clothes, but when I laid Morgan down her eyes rolled back in her head and she went completely still. I immediately picked her up and  within 2-3 second she was fine. My mom was right there and saw it all and I told her, ‘Something isn’t right. She isn’t ok. Something is wrong.’ She went to have the lifeguard send a paramedic over to listen to her lungs. I was worried she took in water while playing in the splash pad. The Hubs asked what was wrong and he wanted to try getting Morgan dressed in the shaded area. Again, he laid her down and within seconds her eyes rolled back in her head and she went completely still. Once he picked her up she was back to her normal self, and even grabbed for Logan’s cracker. The on-sight paramedic checked her out and her lungs sounded ok but they suggested we take her to the hospital just to be safe. Grandma and Grandpa were going to take Logan home with them so the Hubs and I started walking to the front of the waterpark to take Morgan to the hospital. While walking towards the exit Morgan started acting very strange and passed out briefly. The Hubs called 911 and we ran full speed into the offices at the waterpark to get Morgan into the a/c. She quickly recovered but was still being very lethargic. The ambulance got there quickly and checked her vitals and within a few minutes she was back to her normal self. However, since we were not sure what happened or what caused it, they took us to the hospital to have her checked out by a doctor. She was monitored and had an EKG and the doctor gave her a clean bill of health…unfortunately, he couldn’t diagnose what happened. He suggested we continue doing everything exactly the same with Morgan and IF it happens again, which he did not think it will, bring her right back. It gave us a big scare for sure. We were so grateful my parents were there to help with Logan, and she thoroughly enjoyed the peanut butter & jelly sandwich grandpa made.

We brought Morgan home and she took a long nap, woke up happy and was sweet and active like nothing happened. m&m174d

We really hope the doctor was right and it does not happen again. The whole event not only scared us, but wore us out. I am glad she continued to be all smiles all evening. m&m174e

We are trying not to restrict anything Morgan does, but we have decided to keep outdoor activities, while it is super hot, to a minimum. Squigsy, we love you!
