December 5-11, 2016
I kept Logan home from school for a day and took her shopping to get Christmas gifts for Daddy and Morgan. She loved seeing all the Christmas decorations at the stores. A Middle School music group was warming up for a performance and we stopped to listen.
As we were walking out of Toys-R-Us two women stopped us to ask if Logan’s hair was real. I told them it was and they said over and over how beautiful it is (duh!) but I was pretty surprised….she’s 3, do 3 year olds have fake hair? See, Krystyn, people aren’t just mesmerized by your reds!
While the Hubs takes Logan to dance class on Wednesday evenings, I spend one on one time with Morgan. She’s always extra clingy and snuggly and I love it.
She is OBSESSED with nursery rhymes, but Logan tells us ‘I am too older for that show’, so Morgan rarely gets to watch them. I let her binge watch, which she was happy to do, as long as she was sitting on my lap. She also brought me a bow AND headband to wear while she watched…a Squigsy has to look pretty while she binges on nursery rhymes!
Sunday we went to see Christmas lights at a local baseball stadium. It was AMAZING and we will definitely be going back for one of their family days. Morgan was overwhelmed and wouldn’t even let me hold her for a picture.
It was a Sunday evening so it was not very busy which was perfect for the girls…once Morgan was confortable they were running ALL over the stadium.
Both girls LOVED the lights, and Morgan ended up loving it SO much she refused to take a family picture.
Before we left Momma Santa got a picture with Logan Elf.
We are going to go to Zoo lights one evening and I am really looking forward to it after seeing how much fun Constellation Field Christmas lights were.
