March 27-April 2, 2017
We started the week off with Morgan’s 18 month well child visit….two months late. Oops! Although she said ‘no no no!’ while I was putting her in a back carry, once she was secure she was happy!
Her check-up went well and she is almost 26lbs and 35.25” tall….which explains why she fits 2T clothes so well.
Logan had a Spring parade at school on Friday. She was very excited knowing we would be there and wanted to send Daddy a picture when I dropped her off that morning.
We put our creative forces together, used a basket we already had and some supplies from the dollar store, and made her a ‘float’ for the parade.
She did a great job decorating the float and demanding I put bunnies and butterflies in exact places! I love how proud she was of her float.
Thanks to the Hubs for capturing this picture of me taking pictures….he makes sure to always get Mommy & Me shots….you can see Logan near the center of the picture.
After school, both girls enjoyed the Spring float.
We ended to fun day with ‘ice cones’ (that’s what Logan calls them) and hot dogs for dinner.
Morgan thoroughly enjoyed her first ice cone.
Saturday, Granny joined us for a trip to the zoo and the zoo splash pad! It opened for season April 1 and the girls were the first ones to enjoy it for 2017!
A trip to the zoo wouldn’t be complete without popcorn. EVERY time.
I can’t wait for more zoo splash pad trips this Summer! We have some friends that will be joining us so that will be fun for all. we don’t want this Spring weather to end because Summer heat and humidity can be brutal…thank goodness there are splash pads all over the city.
