Mommy & Me-Take 124

Morgan is growing like crazy. We are ready for her arrival whenever she is.

Logan has a new favorite snack…apples! When the fridge is opened she immediately asks for one.

We had big plans for the holiday weekend..going swimming at Grandma and Grandpa’s, fireworks, sparklers and more. Logan was still asleep Friday morning at 7:15 so I went to wake her up so she would get to school in time for her second breakfast. As soon as I walked in her room the smell hit me, our sweet baby girl had thrown up all over in her crib. She stood up and wanted MommaE and we came right downstairs with clean clothes so we could have some fresh air. We didn’t make it further than the kitchen when she started to get sick again, and it broke my heart. She was miserable and felt terrible ALL day. All she wanted to do was snuggle snuggle snuggle MommaE and Father, and we happily obliged.

She fell asleep with me on the couch and in our bed…she hasn’t done that since she was a few months old. I was sad she didn’t feel well but I savored every cuddly moment with our active almost 2 year old!

Father got some sick Milkshake cuddles, too.

She is still so gorgeous and precious even when she’s sick.

Saturday morning Logan woke up feeling much better, so we stuck with our plans to go to the zoo. She LOVED it and has been telling us ‘fun at the zoo!’ every day since we went. We also ask her what animals we saw and she tells us! She liked the small monkeys the most and kept asking the monkeys to ‘come here’ while we were there. I was so glad we had our Lillebaby so she could still be close to MommaE and see the animals.

It was fun to see the bears eat their breakfast.

We didn’t go see fireworks for the 4th because the zoo drained Logan. We made sure to start Sunday off with a bang and played in the sprinklers and slip-n-slide in the backyard, all before noon!

Grandma and Grandpa brought us a delicious dinner Sunday evening and Logan was SO happy to see them and spend some time with them. She is feeling much better, but now has a cough and runny nose. I am hoping diffusing essential oils the next few nights helps her. We hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July!
