Friday night while catching up on Bates Motel (the show is really good!) zoE got her milkshake snuggle time. I’m starting to think the bump is their ideal pillow…anyone in the pet bed making industry should invent something like this for cats. She made sure to get all snuggled in and have her head resting just right on my milkshake bump:
Logan gave a little kick or punch (I still can’t tell if it’s an elbow or foot or just her rolling around) and zoE did the absolute cutest thing, she hugged her sister.
Can this fur baby be any sweeter? I have been asked what we will do with them when our milkshake arrives, and I am sort of puzzled by this. Nothing, we will go from a family of 6 to a family of 7. Of course we aren’t going to let the cats snuggle in her crib or let the dogs share her toys, and we will always keep a watchful eye on them around her. We live with pet hair and seem to be just fine, so we are thinking Logan will be able to adapt as well.
I’m sure Logan will love them all.
And, Sas only liked an empty crib. A crib with a baby in it was of absolutely no interest to her!
That is so sweet! My dog has a similar connection with my kids. She became protective of me when I was pregnant, and when the kids were newborns she slept right next to their bassinet. 🙂 It’s a little more challenging to have pets and kids but it’s so rewarding to see their bond. I love seeing mine play and snuggle together. Plus, they say growing up with animals reduces the risk of allergies, because they grow a tolerance to it early!
