Take 211

March 6-12, 2017

We found an AMAZING babysitter and had a random midweek date night. Before we left we had her take a family picture.

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo fun!

While the Hubs and Logan went on a rollercoaster I snuggled and danced with Morgan. It was SO cold and windy!

Morgan loved all the animals and spent about 45 minutes in the petting zoo. It was difficult to get her to leave!

Once a goat pooped very near Logan’s foot she was over it and ready for more of her snow cone….yes, even though it was cold that was all she wanted to eat.

Logan liked the baby chicks.

The rollercoaster was a little scary for Logan (we entered the carnival near the adult rides) so once we found the kids section it was tons of fun!

Despite the cold temp, we had a blast, and learned a LOT! Like, it’s important to buy half price carnival tickets in advance AND starting the carnival on kiddie rides is a smart idea.

Take 212

March 13-19, 2017

From cold, windy days to needing shorts and sunscreen the next day—pretty much sums up Houston ‘winter’! Happy St. Patrick’s Day (mom fail…I didn’t make Morgan a shirt to match us this year).

We spent every moment we could outside. The weather was PERFECT!

We went to the zoo Sunday and we were bummed the splash pad wasn’t open…but it WILL be starting April 1 and we are ready! The carousel is always fun and this was the first time Morgan rode an animal by herself and enjoyed it!

Gah, I hope they are always this sweet to each other!

Their curly hair is absolute perfection!
