Photo Story Friday-The ATL Edition

Last weekend I flew to Atlanta to visit my sister and her family. I try to see them a few times a year, though it would be much better if they lived in the Lone Star state and I could see them all the time, but that is for another post. This trip required more packing than others. The first thing I needed, a suitcase:

I had to use the biggest one to bring home all the milkshake goodies!

Then I had to fill it up with all the ATL necessities. First thing in, shirts that are too short for my long torso, and fit my sister nicely:

Next, some sweaters from my mom that are also too short for her, and look great on my sister:

A little surprise for the person who created this lovely blog, and has also been my on call doctor for literally every question me or the hubs have had about the milkshake (we had to drive her insane the first few weeks!):

Grandma sent a helpful product for the girls gorgeous red curls:

A perfectly measured supply of Fiber One and granola to help the poo process:

Enough m.o.m. to get me through the weekend (it’s nasty but the mint flavor is tolerable, and since it works, I’ll choke it down):

ATL4

Just in case there was any confusion about the milkshake’s gender I brought these (I also wore a pink sweater) and shared:

ATL3

And last of all, well, before my clothes and necessities, my beloved doppler for our nieces to listen to Logan’s heartbeat:

ATL2

I had a great trip and was very sad to leave. My BIL was a trooper….he got up at 3:30am to take me to the airport and carried in the giant box I had to bring home so I wouldn’t have to. When I landed I called the hubs to let him know I made it safely and was heading to work, and then I cried. It’s really sad Logan won’t get to see her cousins every single day. They are the sweetest, cutest, most kind and LOVING kids in the world! I hope we get to see them soon, until it’s in person FaceTime and tons of picture messages will have to do.

*I’ll have to do a different post about all the stuff I came home with! My giant suitcase was stuffed to the brim!
