Mommy & Me-Take 181

We began the week celebrating Logan’s 3rd birthday! She was very excited to be 3 and told everyone she could that it was her birthday. I let her pick out her own dress to wear for her special day. The picture is blurry but shows off the sparkly pink belt she really liked.

The Hubs and I brought Sophia the First cupcakes for her to enjoy with her friends at school. Apparently, she was so excited it was her birthday that she didn’t nap…and neither did any of the other kiddos that day.

Logan had a wonderful 3rd birthday and I will do a separate post all about her special day.

We followed her birthday with a trip to the dentist the next morning. She was incredibly patient ‘waiting my turn’ and did such a good job during the x-rays and cleaning.

The dentists (husband and wife) have a daughter a few weeks younger than Logan and I can’t say enough how wonderfully patient they were. They made her cleaning fun and easy. Phew. MommaE HATES the dentist so it was nice to see Logan stay relaxed and comfortable.

That evening, Morgan took her first steps! While the Hubs prepared to video I tickled and kissed and snuggled our growing baby shake. The video is on IG and it’s rather impressive…she took quite a few steps the first time and the second time which we were able to capture on video.

We ended the week with a trip to the park after breakfast, and another park trip before dinner.

Yes, Morgan is still in her jammies. In order to beat the heat we had to eat breakfast and GO!

Before the girls went to bed Sunday night Morgan took quite a few steps around the play room upstairs.

She hasn’t figured out how to go from sitting to standing to walking without some assistance, but I am sure by this time next week she will be running. That ought to be fun! I love once babies are walking…it opens an entire world of fun and things to do.
